Title: Dragonball Z: Legacy (Beta 1) Size: 3mb Bugs: High (-3) This was basically a 'test' game where I really didn't put much time and effort into it. There are plenty of faults, spelling errors, etc. Gameplay: 3 The overall concept and storyline is quite similar with just a lot less suprises etc. The gameplay is quite poor in the demo as there is only 1 boss, and not really any other battles. Quickly gets boring thus the reason of it being a demo. Not even 10mins of gameplay so it really lacks detail and fun. Programming: 1 Only the basics here, hardly any scripts as I was just learning how to use them. No variables, or timed events. Quite poor. Graphics: 4 None of the graphics were edited and all the charsets where the standard Dbz ones used in the RTP update. Really poor and not at all appealing. Audio: 3 The sound is mostly from the Japanese series and is quite poor. The tempo is changed in order to somehow re-inact the real character's voice as shown in the English version of the series. Overall: 8/35 = 23% This is the very first game I have made and is full of bugs. I was just first getting to know the RPG Maker 2000+ engine and learning it's features. It basically starts off the same as the Full version but alot less is added. There's only 1 major boss to defeat, and the overall game is quite short. Download this game if you want, but I'm not recommending it. Download: (Download taken down) |

Title: Dragonball Z: Legacy v1.0 Size: 45mb Bugs: None (-0) The full version has really been thoroughly tested and has been proven to show no results. Of course, there still might be a bug or two hidden somewhere that was easily missed. If so, please contact dp_webmaster@dp.cjb.net with the problem and where it is found. Gameplay: 10 My personal opinion is that this is a a fun-filled game that I have enjoyed, hence the high score. The game portrays alot of fun and entertainment and has had alot of work put into it to ensure that the player will have an enjoyable time playing the game. There are certain parts which can prove to be quite challenging and require you to think so that the game gives a balance of gameplay. Programming: 3 Just general programming, many variables and switches that add more features to the game. Currently working on a CBS and CMS to make the game more fun and entertaining. Graphics: 9 The graphics are really improved over the demo version. Almost all chipsets have been edited by myself to suit the needed environment. Most characters are used from Ninja of Shadows creations although all have been modified. Audio: 9 The sound extracts are mostly from the English version of the Dbz series and are also taken from various other sources such as games for other engines etc. Overall: 31/35 = 89% This is a very fun/amusing game, it has good action, nice sound, but I think that the bosses are a little bit too easy. The game also has something noticable and quite odd. It seems that Goku is able to go Super Saiyan, although he has never been Super Saiyan 2 or 3, but he has already defeated Buu and the others. The reason for this is I wanted to add more action by having dramatic transformations and effects. So other than that, download this game if you like Dragonball Z, and have a good idea what it's about. Download: Here |

Title: Dragonball Z: Saiyan Legend (Demo) Author: Ricky Peguero Size: 14mb Bugs: Low (-1) There was one type of bug that was quite annoying in the game. Everytime a character left the screen, it became the Future cop from the Future charset. On every single map there would be at least 3 of those cops, making the game seem very weird, and I'm suprised the creator didn't notice it before he sent the game online. Gameplay: 9 Excellent gameplay. Many twists and turns that will have any player on the edge of their seat. Adding the 'fake' characters such as Super Saiyan Raditz and Majin Frieza add more excitement to the game, making the player unaware of the events that are to unfold. Programming: 4 Very good programming. A very nice Custom Menu System that allows the players to even look at the profile of a Dragonball Z character, if that character has been introduced. The game also features a very nice Dragonball Radar which proves to be very useful in the quest to find the 7 Dragonballs. Graphics: 9 It seems that the charsets and chipsets have been modified to suit the environment needed for the game. The Super Saiyan Raditz is done very nicely, as are the intro pictures to each chapter, making the 'made-up' transformations of both Raditz and Frieza, look very professional. Audio: 8 The audio is used at the right places with nice music to suit the specific map. The theme songs are used for the right characters, and the sound effects give a great boost to the game, making it very enjoyable. Overall: 28/35 = 80% This game is very well designed and can have a person playing for a long time. Even though this is a demo, it has a massive amount of 270 maps which all prove to be rich in detail and very well presented. The game basically follows the same storyline as Dragonball Z, although with a few new twists. Goku has only defeated Radditz and has never heard of Frieza, until later on in the game. Bardock and Raditz return and Raditz is a Super Saiyan. Trunks also comes alot earlier from the future in this game and helps Goku in his battle against Frieza. Frieza also later comes back as Majin Frieza. I recommend this game to all. A must download. Download: Here |

Title: Dragonball: Unknown Foe - Second Strike Author: Trunks66 Size: 4mb Bugs: Low (-1) There were minimal bugs here and there that had hardly an affect on the gameplay. Gameplay: 7 Original story that at times seems tied in with Dragonball Z. Really interesting storyline, the battles are very fun , and the maps are very detailed. Programming: 2 A good level of variables is shown here although without a custom battle or menu system, the score had to remain small. Other than that, an overall good knowledge of rm2k. Graphics: 8 Most chipsets/charsets have been designed or edited by Trunks66 which make them original and suit the desired environment. All the maps were put together nicely with detail, and also the additional off-battle animations are a real bonus. Audio: 5 Nice audio adds extra effects to the game making it fun to play and there is something always new. Overall: 21/35 = 60% Bulma is puzzled when her system goes hay-wire then she calls Dr. Briefs to ask him what's going on, he explains there are several object coming towards Earth and they may have life on them. The story unfolds from there.... This game has great potential and is very fun to play. The only problem is for the users of an older version of the RTPe. If you do have an older version, you will notice that there are several chipsets missing. So other than that, it is an overall great game. Download: Here |

Title: Dragonball Z: Final Legend Author: MizticGohan - Website Size: 3mb Bugs: High (-3) Gameplay: 4 The gameplay can be fun at the start but with detail lacking in the maps and characters, it really makes this game quite boring in the first few minutes. A couple of bosses hold the game together, but don't prove to be challenging. Programming: 1 Very basic knowledge of rm2k used here. The storyline was well thought of but the overall setting out poorly dragged it down. Graphics: 3 The characters are just the default dbz charsets without any editing or modification added. All the characters movie in one position as if trying to run but are stuck. Maps greatly lack detail, the maps are gigantic and have nothing to fill them up with apart from one town (as shown in image). They are dull and don't keep the player interested. Audio: 2 The audio is quite poor in some moments. Mostly the default rm2k sounds are used and the music seems too loud in some maps. Overall: 7/35 = 20% Quite a popular RPG although it isn't great. The level's interior and exterior are massive and lack detail, so basically it's almost all open. This game does generate some fun, although it will quickly get boring. The characters all walk when standing still as if they are stuck, and some of the graphics are just thrown anywhere. Also this is just a demo version, so it's really not worth downloading unless you've played all the other games on this page. This game is no longer updated, so don't expect a full version released. Title: Dragonball Z: Union Fighter Author: StingerRPG Size: 8mb Bugs: None (-0) Since this game is in German, it is quite hard to tell whether or not there were typos, errors, etc. Although the maps and characters seemed to be free of any faults. Gameplay: 6 Again, because the game is in German, it has hard to understand what is going on or what your mission is. There are several quests and tasks that are set as you proceed, but unless you read German, you will not know what is going on. Programming: 4 A good knowledge of switches and variables have been shown. There is a very nice day/night cycle where the enemies only appear at night. There are many quests that are only available at certain times of the day and also the shops are closed at night. Graphics: 6 Some of the graphics were original and all of the maps were designed with great detail. Alot of work has been put into this. Audio: 4 The audio is very basic. There are no dbz sounds at all, and the music is very varied. The music does however, match the surrounding environment. Overall: 20/35 = 57% I can't really give a description of this game or even tell you what it's about due to the fact that it's in German. The reason I put this game up for download is that I find it is a fun game. What I can concure about this game, is that it is set after Dragonball GT. You play the role of Goku Jr. and all the other Z Fighters have passed on. The overall storyline/objective of the game is still unknown to me, however all of the levels are done nicely. The chipsets and charsets are also very nice and detailed. So download this game, even if you don't read in German. Download: Here |

| Title: Dragonball Z: The Next Revolution Author: Ginyu Force Size: 20mb Bugs: Low (-1) Not many bugs apart from the most viewable being the mass amount of typos. This doesn't have a major effect on the game, although there could be some more effort put into this. Gameplay: 8 The mini-games and storyline both add great fun to the game that make it enjoyable by all. It really makes you keep on playing to find out what is next. Great ideas. Programming: 5 Top programming! Really excellent knowledge of switches and variables. The mini-games are just a sample of the great use of code used in the RPG. Graphics: 10 Alot of nice imports from different console games and many original modifications. Everything has been designed very nicely, and everything fits in well. Audio: 8 The audio is very good throughout the whole RPG. Sound matches the environment and is well used. Overall: 30/35 = 86% Amazing game! It's really quite excellent to see the Rm2k engine put to the limits. This game includes an intro, excellent (although quite challenging) mini-games that were really great ideas. This game is a must have for any Dbz and even a non-Dbz fan! Download: (Not available) |
