Terms and Conditions of Membership
Œ Standard issue Personal Protective
Equipment (overalls, gloves, helmets, goggles, respirator)
will be supplied by the Woodlea Rural Fire Brigade acting
under the auspices of the Queensland Fire and Rescue
Service and in line with current Workplace Health and
Safety policies. All personal Protective equipment is
the property of the Queensland Fire and Rescue Service
and as such, must be returned to the Woodlea Rural Fire
Brigade on your cessation as a member of this Brigade.
Œ Subject to and not before successful
completion of your probationary period you may be issued
with a pager. This also remains the property of the
QFRS and Woodlea Rural Fire Brigade and must be returned
should you cease to be an active member of the Brigade
or upon the request of the Management Committee.
Œ During your tenure as probate
you may order boots at a subsidized rate (subject to
availability). These are classified as personal property
and will remain your personal property upon your purchase.
Œ Meetings are held on the first
Tuesday of the month (unless otherwise advised by the
Management Committee) at Woodlea Base. If you are unable
to attend, please inform another member of your apology.
Œ This probationary period will
extend for three months from the time of ratification
as a member. At the end of this period the Management
Committee of the Brigade will recommend to the general
meeting that you will be accorded/ or denied full membership.
Œ The Management Committee of
the Woodlea Rural Fire Brigade has the authority to
rescind membership at any time during this probationary
period, should any condition herein be breached.
Œ All members must agree to be
bound by the Woodlea Rural Fire Brigade Constitution,
Standard Operating Procedures and Brigade By-laws.
